Position Summary
The Sales Representative drives sales growth by achieving targets, expanding distribution, and ensuring strong in-store execution for Energizer products across assigned areas.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow sales of Energizer products (e.g., batteries, flashlights, portable lighting, light bulbs, auto care) within the assigned area.Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key trade partners.Execute daily store visits to ensure optimal product visibility, stock availability, and point-of-sale (POS) compliance.Implement trade marketing programs, promotions, and merchandising standards according to brand guidelines.Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs as set by the Sales Manager.Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback on pricing, promotions, and market trends.Ensure timely order taking from customers.Support the execution of in-store displays and promotional campaigns to drive sell-out.Collaborate with supply chain teams and warehouse to ensure smooth operations and product availability.
Additional Responsibilities
Ensure route plan compliance by demonstrating discipline in coverage and execution.Spend 80% to 90% of time in the field, covering both Modern Trade (MT) and Traditional Trade (TT) channels.Oversee branch-level sales administration, including TT and van sales operations; support the sales team by coordinating with head office and local customers.Possess a strong understanding of the entire sales operations process, both internal and external.Manage territorial area assignments, including supervision of Area Coordinators (ACs)—note that ACs are third-party personnel and EPI policies may not apply.Ensure effective implementation of company programs and projects in Traditional Trade markets.Conduct at least 4 van rides per month with the distributor in the assigned area.Coach and educate the Distributor Field Sales Team (DFST) during van rides to enhance field execution.Maintain a strong network and communication flow; visit 15–20 stores daily in Modern Trade to monitor sales, program productivity, and ensure smooth implementation.Provide update in the field, resolve issue, and elevate to Key Account ManagerHandle branch-level negotiations for display rentals and resolve other Modern Trade concerns.Provide clear execution directives to colleagues for Local MT accounts.Responsible for collection, delivery alignment, and coordination with relevant teams.What we are looking for
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma holders are welcome to apply; a Bachelor’s degree in any 4-year course is preferred.Prior sales experience is required, ideally in Key Account Management, with exposure to customer handling and account development across local chains.Strong presentation and communication skills.A team player who thrives in fieldwork and enjoys engaging with people.Objective-driven with a clear understanding of sales goals and the drive to achieve them.Mobile and flexible, with the ability to adapt quickly to company policies.Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Come join us!
