The Sales Representative is responsible for growing Lou Malnati’s catering sales. This will be accomplished through the use of internal reporting, prospecting, collaborating with operations, marketing and our support team as well as driving the growth of Lou Malnati’s catering using all methods of sales, developing a strong brand awareness for catering in the community and business markets we serve, and supporting customer service complaints to win back a guest when needed. The role requires a strategic approach to grow sales with accountability to Sales Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospect and qualify new sales leads
Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities
Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products
Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly
Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
Build and maintain professional networks
Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and current customers
Meet and/or exceed prospect and meeting quotas and sales goals
Coordinate with other team members and departments (marketing, finance, operations and CX) to optimize the sales effort
Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products
Sell, plan, coordinate, execute and attend catering functions and events as needed. This may require evening and/or weekend work

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
2-4 years of sales experience
