What’s attractive about the Sales Rep position?
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 based on experience plus incentive potential You’ll be part of an exciting and dynamic company. Ability to make an immediate impact within growing business.
What Success Looks Like:
Represent Quanex in the aggressive selling of products and capabilities. Establish short- and long-term sales plans that will achieve divisional profitability and sales goals. Partner with product development and product engineering to develop samples. Understand and effectively communicate customer quality expectations. Establish realistic sales forecasts for assigned products and customers. Collaborate with peers to prepare pricing and programs for customers in a timely manner. Investigate, evaluate, and coordinate with other departments to resolve customer concerns. Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results. Excellent communication skills & ability to build positive relationships with customers, prospects, and internal colleagues. Experience working in / supporting a manufacturing organization. Ability to travel up to 50%.
What You Bring:
7+ years of progressive sales/product management experience involving OEM accounts Industrial/manufacturing sales experience within the wood products industry preferred Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field Strong communication, collaborative, and results orientated
