Job Title: Business Development Representative
Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Representative with a background in project management or as a superintendent or foreman dealing with excavators. This role involves bringing in new clients, setting up jobs, and managing the logistics of a designated territory. The candidate will travel 50% of the time to visit sites and develop business across various locations.

ResponsibilitiesManage projects and oversee all aspects of the job.Know the cost for projects and pricing for loads of dirt.Bring in new clients and set up jobs with a goal of securing approximately four deals a year.Oversee logistics management of the territory, including invoicing, accounts payable follow-ups, and business unit development.Develop a book of business and manage it independently.Utilize sales and communication skills to effectively manage client relationships and project requirements.Essential SkillsExperience in project management or as a superintendent or foreman dealing with excavators.Knowledge of project costs and pricing for loads of dirt.Ability to bring in new clients and set up jobs.Logistics management skills, including invoicing and accounts payable follow-up.Sales and communication skills with a deep understanding of the work involved.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree required.Experience in construction management and asphalt work is a plus.Work Environment

This role is based in Virginia without a designated office, focusing on site visits and business development. The candidate will travel 50% of the time to locations from Fredericksburg to Chantilly and Baltimore. This position requires flexibility and comfort working on project sites without a home office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00
