As a Sales Representative for The Pittsburgh Paints (Canada) Company Ltd, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our business in the PMC & Light Industrial Coatings and Machine Applied Coatings sectors across Western Ontario. This role is focused on acquiring new customers, developing existing accounts, and maximizing direct business growth, both with existing clients and prospects. You will work remotely, traveling up to 70% of your time to meet customer needs and drive the sales strategy forward.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop new business and expand customer relationships within your territory, identifying and prospecting high-value accounts in the Industrial Coatings sector.
• Focus on driving revenue growth by building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the customer base.
• Identify new business opportunities with both existing customers and prospective clients, driving strategic initiatives to secure new projects and contracts.
• Collaborate with PPC's internal teams to ensure customer needs are met, ensuring timely deliveries, product specifications, and services are tailored to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Utilize company-provided market data and CRM systems to track customer opportunities, manage key projects, and ensure sales goals are achieved.
• Assist in the development of commercial relationships and marketing plans tailored to customer needs, ensuring PPC is positioned as the preferred supplier.
• Communicate project developments and contract wins effectively within the sales team to ensure alignment and coordination.
• Work closely with PPC’s network of partners and distributors to ensure business growth and provide support on new product developments and technology implementations.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on industrial coatings or technical products.
• Proven ability to drive sales, develop customer relationships, and identify new revenue opportunities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and manage client contracts effectively.
• Experience using CRM software to track sales, opportunities, and customer interactions.
• Must be self-motivated, autonomous, and capable of working independently to achieve sales targets.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 70% within the assigned territory.
• Preferable: NACE Level 1 Certification.
