What you will do
Sales Representative clinical – Genetic Testing Solutions, Clinical, reporting to Manager, Genetic Testing Solutions, West Europe. The role is to drive Sales for Real-time PCR, digital PCR and Capillary Electrophoresis instruments, kits and consumables into a Clinical/Diagnostic environments, as well as new product releases. The role holder will use their knowledge of the business and external context to give to and deliver profitable initiatives that build sales. A strong history in clinical sales would be desirable including knowledge of selling regulated products into an CE-IVD and IVDR environment.
Major Responsibilities
Achieve the agreed sales targetIncrease the install base of Thermo Fisher Scientific Instrumentation within the sales territory plus consumable businessWork together with local sales colleagues and manager sales to ensure all possible actions are done to secure business in difficult situationsDrive business expansion in collaboration with Support, Sales, and Market DevelopmentBuild up reference sitesSet up and undertake deals. Review effectiveness or strategy on a continual basis. Benchmark own sales techniques against standard processes. Coach colleagues and ensure transfer of knowledge, experience, and best sales practiceSales ForecastingAnticipate pipeline changes and has plans in place to address shortfallsSee trends and coordinate sales activities with the sales manager accordinglyWhat we are looking for
Academic degree (BSc, MSc) or equivalent experience in Life ScienceKnowledge of the Sequencing and Real-Time PCR technologiesMinimum of 5 yeas sales experience in sales and account managementStrong interpersonal and relationship development skillsExcellent communication skills, including social media.Ability to establish short & long-term business objectivesKnowledge of the clinical customer and marketplaceDutch speaker preferableInterested?
