Sales Representative II

Position Summary:

Milacron is looking for a Field Sales Engineer to join our team in South Texas. As a Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for sales activities of the organization, including managing client relationships and selling company products and services to individuals or other organizations.

Work You’ll Do:

Develop and implement sales strategies, identify potential customers, and manage existing customer relationships.The Sales Engineer sells to the end consumer/business purchaser through primarily field (i.e., face-to-face) interactions with customers including new sales to new customers as well as cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers, assessing customer needs, and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.Developing and delivering sales bids, proposals, and presentations and conducting product demonstrations.Develop strategies focused on expanding client base within defined market segments, produce new account revenue in line with current organization and individual targets/quotas.Responsible for keeping Salesforce up to date and accurate every week by logging physical calls, entering RFQ's, keeping customer contacts accurate and logging notes.Travel up to 80% pending customer requirements and establishing and maintaining great relationships with your current and future customers. Full territory is Central/South Texas, Southern Louisiana, and Southern Mississippi.Territory includes representation for Conair and Sepro product lines. In this territory we represent their products and follow same strategic plan and execution to meet their goals for your territory.

Team:

Will be part of the Southwest Sales Team.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  MBA preferred.Experience in the plastic extrusion and/or injection molding industry.5+ years in a field sales role, preferably with technical or capital equipment.Able to travel up to 80% of the time to meet with customers and keep sales pipeline strong.Experience with negotiations, scheduling, and project management.Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM) is a plus.Experience developing and marketing new products and services is also desirable.
