Sales Representative - North Island, New Zealand

Trimax Mowing Systems is a New Zealand company that designs, manufactures, and distributes commercial mowing equipment around the world. We started in the 1980s developing mowers for the booming kiwifruit industry, but we now have an exciting range of mowers with a loyal following of Horticulture/Viticulture growers, turf farmers, sports and golf, and municipal contractors.  


Despite our success, we proudly remain a family owned business with a strong set of values and a people-first approach. Our head office is in Tauranga New Zealand and we have an exciting international team and facilities based across Australia, USA, and the United Kingdom.   


Due to the significant growth we have seen in recent years, we are looking for an additional sales professional to join our New Zealand team in the North Island, ideally in the Waikato/Bay of Plenty region.

Your Role

Represent our brand with Passion  Building and managing strong relationships with our dealers to drive sales results  Helping to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales enquires  Providing hands-on technical product assistance  Planning, setting up and exhibiting at field day events across the year to promote sales  Field demonstrations and installation of mowers  Active use and maintenance of our comprehensive CRM systems to drive sales inquiries  In this role the sales will be through the dealer network and direct sales.  


Key Skills

Some sales experience, preferably in the golf sector  Energy, drive and tenacity to open doors to achieve ambitious targets and to continuously look for new opportunities, follow up and implement new business  Refined interpersonal skills suited to selling, relationship development and completing the sale or task  A sound background and understanding of engineering products providing the capability to competently train end users/dealers and increase their product knowledge  Can tow a trailer and strap down machinery  The freedom and willingness to travel and stay away from home when required
