Sales Representative - Redistribution

The Sales Rep will be accountable for the growth of sales with a variety of disposable products.

These items include but are not limited to paper products, to go packaging, janitorial and food service items. The ideal candidate is committed to continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and results achievement.

Customers will include hotels, restaurants, resorts and other institutional establishments or individuals at sales office or customer's place of business. The Sales Rep will work in a fast paced and ever changing environment where attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, initiative and drive are extremely important to achieving company sales goals.

Responsibilities:       

Actively Foster Key Customer Relationships and Realize Future Growth Potential Daily sales calls with distributor reps Weekly Planning of Sales Act Monthly Recaps of Targeted Sales Priorities Contact customers to solicit orders, and establish new relationships Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features Attend required customer and company scheduled meeting Promote new products within existing customer base Establish and grow new accounts Provide timely and accurate sales forecast to operational team to ensure inventory levels are up to date Evaluate pricing every quarter to ensure and protect margins Grow territory with topline and bottom line results Participate in Industry Association Functions Work with outside vendors on new materials and new innovative packaging solutions with regards to packaging

Requirements:  

Bachelor's degree in Professional Selling, Marketing, Business or related - preferred Must have 2+ years of inside/outside sales experience Ability to effectively plan weekly and daily activity directed towards targeted sales opportunities with the account manager Effectively develop knowledge and skill levels Computer literate in a Windows operating environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and AS400 Self-starter who takes initiative and maintains excellent follow-through and follow-up Strong Organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Work effectively in situations that involve change and/or competing demands Perform well in a fast-paced environment Proficient handling of all confidential and time-sensitive material Strong Results - Orientation and Sense of Urgency High level of Personal Accountability Ability to Identify and Prioritize Key Initiatives
