Americas Sales Regional General Manager, Software-as-a-Service, leads the customer facing commercial team responsible and accountable for winning business, retaining customers and advocating for our customers within our business.
Owns commercial business operating guidelines, including operating cadence, budgets and regional growth strategy.
Hard line direct reports of pre-sales solution architects, sales directors and customer success team. Dotted line reports from commercial operations, marketing and customer success engineering.
High levels of accountability and empowerment.
Strategic and highly influential position both in our business and in our industry.
**Job Description**

**Roles and Responsibilities** **:**
+ Lead the team responsible for sales of GE SaaS solutions and Customer Success Management team responsible for supporting and serving customers in region.
+ Lead the team as they grow pipeline, create opportunities, win deals and manage the through life contract.
+ Developing commercial expertise across product lines, markets, sales processes and customer groups. Influences policy and ensures delivery across large and/or diverse sales territories.
+ Responsible and accountable for many commercial metrics, including Orders, Revenue, Cash and NPS.
+ Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
+ Lead others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
+ Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
+ Coach and mentor sales team for Tie 1/2 enterprise sales.
+ Develop and continue ti improve our Custom Account Health management process, with adoption of standard work.
+ Communicate complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
**Minimum Requirements** :
+ Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of sales or account management experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of sales or account management experience).
+ 5+ years of team leadership experience.
**Desired Characteristics** :
+ Will lead a big region, with lots of exposure, an executive presence.
+ Strong sales acumen, will coach a sales team.
+ Strong account management acumen, customer success, C-Suite interaction.
+ Experience in the problems space.
