Sales Science Analyst II - Program Management

As a Sales Science Analyst II – Program Management, your essential job functions will include the following:

Gather, Manage and Understand Data

Identify the components of a problem and apply appropriate analytical techniques to create actionable conclusions—These techniques will include statistical analysis, forecasting and mathematical modelingDefine the goals of analysis activities and coordinate the collection of appropriate data from databases—Understand and assess business situations from an information perspectiveWork collaboratively with members of the program management, sales, supplier relations and supply chain teams to analyze data and deliver key insights

Reporting and Support

Manage the design of program management reporting tools, including automation of reporting, and the building of new metrics and dashboardsAssemble and distribute operational reports and performance metrics—Provide program management VPs, Directors, and General Managers with interpretations of reports and assist them in understanding underlying dataWork closely with Promotions Operations and Sales Operations teams to manage, maintain and enhance promotion processes and provide promotion goals, insights and performance analysesMaintain and audit critical data through the appropriate IT systems and departmentsServe as the internal end-user point of contact for ad hoc program management information requests

Recommendations and Implementation

Participate in management of strategic projects with initiative—Assist with complete and timely communication of progress, coordinating necessary resources and proactively resolving hurdles to progress by bringing challenges to management attention along with possible solutionsCollaborate with Program Management leaders to identify and pursue performance improvement opportunities (reporting efficiencies & automation)—clearly outline options and recommended courses of action, and support implementation

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldsAdvanced degree preferred3-5 years of experience -OR- an advanced degree with 1-3 years of experience in a technical/analytical roleAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWorks with sense of urgencyAbility to manage multiple projects at the same timeEffective in communicating technical conceptsStrong intellectual curiosityAdvanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, VBA)Proficient in statistical/analytical software and appropriate programming languages for automation (90% R, 10% Python)Proficient in data-access languages (SQL, SOQL)Proficient in Power BIProficient in OBIEE data and reporting platformFamiliarity with Salesforce is a plus

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The total compensation package may also include commission, bonus or profit sharing. Base Pay Range:

$77,000-$90,000
