Job Description Summary

The Sales Segment Business Partner is responsible for creating and supporting a strategic partnership between CXM and the Sales Team. The role will identify, prioritize, and execute that align with the overall business goals.

Owns and Advocates for Sales Segment Experience. Takes full ownership of the customer experience within the assigned Sales Segment, ensuring consistent delivery and identifying areas for improvement. Serves as the key advocate for the segment’s specific needs and priorities.

Collaborates to Resolve Account Health Issues. Partners with Sales Tribe Leads and cross-functional teams (Care Operations, Tech Operations, etc.) to address and resolve critical account health issues, such as ongoing order backlog (OB) problems, network or mobile connectivity disruptions, and unresolved aging cases. Proactively drives problem resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.

CXM Team Representative in Sales Management Meetings. Represents the Customer Experience Management (CXM) Team in Sales Management meetings, providing performance reports on the segment and addressing concerns. Engages in discussions, offering clarification, and pushing back where necessary. Identifies areas where CXM can support sales initiatives more effectively.

Coordinates Client-Facing Interactions and Resources. Evaluate the requirements for client-facing activities (such as curing sessions) and ensure that the right participants are involved. Manages the involvement of key stakeholders to deliver effective support and maintain strong customer relationships.

Prioritizes Account Nominations for Support. Has the authority to manage and prioritize account nominations for curing and additional support. Ensures critical accounts receive the attention and resources they need based on their impact and urgency.

Drives Process and Tool Adoption. Leads efforts to promote the Sales Team’s habituation and compliance with key processes and tools, such as using Service Cloud for case escalations, adhering to the escalation process, and meeting training requirements (e.g.Training by Sales Enablement Team). Ensures these tools are effectively utilized to enhance performance.

Manages Meeting Action Items. Attends weekly Sales Management meetings, taking ownership of action items, support requests, and key call-outs. Ensures follow-up on all items and alignment with business priorities.
