Summary of role:

The Sales Specialist role is tasked with identifying and qualifying target accounts for the Directors of Sales to prospect and engage with for the purpose of sharing the benefit of their respective Amadeus products. The Sales Specialist role partners with their Directors of Sales to create a pipeline of new sales opportunities, prioritizes these opportunities by value to Amadeus, and supports the field sales organization by delivering impactful sales presentations, product demonstrations and providing relevant subject matter expertise throughout the sales process. In some cases, the Sales Specialist is also responsible for customer retention, including sales efforts with existing customers and renewal contracting, where applicable.

In this role you will:

Identify qualified prospects that represent the best fit for the Sales Specialist's product line and deliver target lists to the Director of Sales along with helpful content for outreach.Build and maintain a new business pipeline of 4x quotaWork collaboratively with assigned field sales members to align on priorities and areas of focus in shared territory.  Ensure consistent communication with assigned team members to most effectively advance new sales opportunities by working cooperatively within the account strategy and customers' best interest.Utilize all relevant GTM and Marketing content available to highlight the benefit of Amadeus products in order to inform and involve customers in understanding how the products will enhance performance at the customers' business.Utilize product 'Subject Matter Expertise' in order to effectively discuss and present/ demonstrate applicable solution/product with customers and potential customers.  Ensure a professional and accurate representation of Amadeus at all times.Pre-qualification of new business opportunities and deliver detailed, actionable targets to assigned field sales (using available data).Client outreach excluding cold callsContacting customers and sending relevant engaging information on behalf of the DOS.Deliver demos and presentations to customers (in person or virtually).Support renewals where applicable.

About the ideal candidate:

Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience within the Hospitality Industry and/or SaaS5+ years of experience in business development sales in the Hospitality Industry, (Technology Solution end-user experience REQUIRED)Ability to influence clients, Directors of Sales, and Sales LeadershipStrong communication skills, written and verbalResults-oriented, biased towards actionHigh energy and passionate hospitality-focused approachStrong people skills and the ability to adapt quickly to the company's operating environment and gain the trust and respect of prospects, customers, colleagues and team membersMS Office, SalesForce, Amadeus Solutions
