The Sales Specialist will contribute to driving growth by supporting the sales team within a strategic partner. The Sales Specialist builds strong relationships with sales team, assisting with quotes, supporting opportunity development, tracking sales target achievement and customer satisfaction. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and driving revenue growth. Proactive engagement with potential and existing customers via phone, email, and other virtual channels.
What you’ll be doing.
Sales Opportunity Tracking
Use sales tools for new opportunities, generating sales quotes / proposals, and processing orders. Collaborate with partner sales team to convert inbound leads into sales opportunities. Generate reports tracking opportunity progress from initial contact to closing deals.Sales Support
Assist with inbound and outbound communications with customers to promote company products and services. Provide product overview materials, pricing information, and quotes to prospects as directed by partner sales team members. Coordinate the delivery of sales training on new products and services, industry trends and competitive differentiation.Pipeline Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in the CRM system. Regularly report on sales metrics, progress, and partnership achievements.Collaboration & Strategy
Work closely with account executives, sales managers, and technical teams to support new business development efforts. Stay informed about SilverSky’s product offerings, market trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position the company’s solutions.What does it take to succeed in this role?
To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the tools, systems and knowledge requirements based on our existing environment:
1–3 years of experience in inside sales, preferably within the technology or cybersecurity industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, interested in developing partnerships to achieve business goals. Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement software Strong project management and organization skills. Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding project goals. Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a target-driven, customer first environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred Expected to work 4 days in the SilverSky office in Mount Laurel, New Jersey with one floating remote work day each week. Minimal travel requiredIn addition to your technical expertise, we expect respect, opinions, and thoughtful input.
