Job Description
We’re looking for an energetic self-starter who wants to develop a strong foundation for a future in sales related work. This individual will be a key focal point for a dynamic global sales team
Microsoft Dynamics/Forecast Management: Manage Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functions for the sales team. Develop a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics and provide updates on new features.Ensure Dynamics CRM application meets the needs and requirements of the sales team.Manage sales forecast ensuring up to date information is readily available.
Production Forecasting: coordinate with both sales and product management, ensure accurate forecast input is provided regularly. Price list management: Act as owner for price list; track, make, and distribute updated price list:Ensure price list is accurate with regards to: part numbers, pricing, distributor discounts, additional information.Working with pricing team to ensure pricing and part numbers are accurate. Provide distribution partners updated price list, identifying changes and providing notice when changes take effect.
Export Licensing: Learn to be the focal point for export licensing processes.Working with external sales team, provide appropriate support and assist in tracking export requests.Keep an updated list of the most common documents and export policies utilized by the sales team.
Demo Asset Management: Maintain inventory of demo assets and up to date tracking of physical location.Provide logistical support of demo asset movement.Issue requests for demo assets as needed.
Account Management Support: Support Sales Account Manager as needed with specific accounts and/or products:Interface with direct accounts to issue quotes, process orders, and other sales related tasks. Sales lead: Act as internal focal point for product lead qualification and sales. Qualify incoming leads, and direct leads to as appropriate.Move prospects through sales funnel.Develop a high-level working knowledge of specific products, datasheet information, technical features, etc.
Trade Show Support:Assists with gathering assets for outbound shipments-follows supplied logistic packing list and confirms items in shipment. Manages export licensing shipping processes for international trade shows. Receive assets and upon return from shows and re-inventories accordingly.Gathers all product information to complete required Trade Show Control Plans. Compiles post trade show badge scan import lists for Marketing and Dynamics. Travels to trade shows for onsite support when needed.
Marketing Support:Daily lead exporting from Dynamics CRMSubmit and manage shipping documents.Learn to create Dynamics dashboards and custom views/reports.Manages printing needs of sales collateral- trade shows, manuals, etc.Responsibilities:Work with sales staff in support of ongoing sales activities.Develop a process to track and report on status and whereabouts of all demo hardware.Travel to domestic and international trade shows if needed, coordinate trade show scheduling.Develop an understanding of US regulations for export of infrared technology.Perform other job-related duties, as needed.
Required Education/CertificationCollege degree in business related field and/or some engineering, physics courses preferred. Required SkillsOne to Three years of sales experience.Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills. Flexibility and ability to cope with, and quickly adapt to, changing priorities, and special assignments.Strong collaborative and teamwork skills. Ability to navigate internal organizations and work cross collaboratively.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus. Ability to travel up to 15%, if needed.Valid driver’s license. Must be able to read, write and speak using the English language.Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
Salary Range:
$59,400.00-$79,310.000Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
