Your role and responsibilities

Responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Achieves both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Responsible to identify and develop new sales opportunities.The role is contributing to Process Automation Business Area based in Muscat; Oman.The work model for the role is onsite.You will mainly be accountable for:•\tSelling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions. Ensuring achievements of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for sales.•\tEstablishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of ABB’s complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution.•\tEnsuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.\t•\t Preparing sales plans using ABB authorized tools e.g. ServIS, Salesforce, etc..•\tSupporting global, cross-divisional capture teams for must win-projects in the respective region.•\tUtilizing service tools and programs to identify and develop sales opportunities to penetrate the installed base. •\tPerforming regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s), in case of any potential order shortfalls.•\tCreating added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques.•\tCommunicating to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.•\tEnsuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers •\tIdentifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.•\tManaging administrative procedures in sales processes, hand over to operations and supporting cash collection and project management activities, when needed.•\tPreparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager.•\tEnsuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions, leads risk reviews and participating on negotiations of key contracts
