Sales Specialist

This position reports to the Direct Sales Leader and provides commercial/technical sales support for our direct customers/end users to ensure that sales targets are achieved.

This Sales Rep will be responsible to develop a market coverage strategy to maximize our sales in the assigned territory. This includes prospection of new customers, maintenance of current customer and recovery of customers lost in the past.

Needs to achieve sales targets for the BU online with key selling objectives in defined territory

Accountable for growing and maintaining existing customers in designated region, plus prospecting and developing new customers to increase market share in our target markets

Responsible for all Analytical Solutions product portfolio sales in diverse industries in Mexico

Will have to develop long lasting relationships with customers and end users focusing on key target accounts

Will interact with different areas of a customer such as end users, procurement, R&D teams and will have to drive conversations providing technical and commercial support accordingly

Will interact with different in-house departments such as customer care, finance, sales, service, aftermarket

Support the implementation of regional commercial and marketing plans, including tactics to accomplish growth targets

Work as a team with our FAS’s to provide a complete solution for our customers

Uses tools such as SalesForce CRM to manage a healthy pipeline and forecast in defined territory, as well as strategic data and interactions with customers

Ensure that PerkinElmer customers are getting the best post-sales support by keeping close contact with customer and internal BU involved

Provides feedback, information, market intelligence and recommendations to improve market penetration and orders growth for Analytical Solutions

Activities in cooperation with other various functional groups:

Marketing

Attend tradeshows in your territory and provide a report at the conclusion of the show.

Work with FAS and Marketing for specific activities in your sales territory

Provide competitive market information

Obtain general market intelligence and feed this to sales management and the marketing team.
