Job Description
As a Truss Salesperson, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, along with managing current accounts. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the customers you support, ensuring to meet and exceed their expectations. You will work closely with our design and production teams in addition to working as a liaison between builders, customers, subcontractors, and other sales staff.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and engaging with potential customers.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.Understand customers' needs and goals, and proactively provide customized truss solutions to meet their requirements.Collaborate with internal teams, including design and production, to ensure seamless execution of projects and delivery of products.Visit jobsites to assure contractors have the necessary materials and to help as needed.Execute detailed monthly sales and gross profit goals.Maintain a high level of customer service through organization of tasks and responsibilities.Monitor and communicate on the status of customer jobs and accounts through the building process.Essential SkillsSales experience in the construction or industrial industries.2 years of construction or building material sales experience.Customer service and business development skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of truss systems and construction processes is highly desirable.Valid driver’s license.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in outside sales within the construction or industrial industries.Strong ability to engage and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.Work Environment
This role is primarily based in an onsite office but requires travel to job sites and client visits to build business. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
