Panel Builder Lead
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid, #LI-onsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power/Smart Buildings Business based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tSelling products to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.•\tPreparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.•\tCommunicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.•\tEstablishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product offering, and aligning to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.•\tEnsuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers. Collaborating with demand creation team and executing those activities that require channel partner participation. Implementing the planned communication, promotion in the channel/segment.•\tContributing in achieving key targets (volume, prices) for the panel builder/channels. Creating detail plans, implement with regular follow up.•\tIdentifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market
Qualifications for the roleDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in electrical industry as well as segment / application engineering knowledge.Strong relationship or Good network within central region in Building, General Industry, Semincon, Data Center, Factory segment. Candidate with project sales background preferred.Should have work with direct or indirect sales or marketing field with proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.Good communication and presentation skills. Commercially astute.Fluent in written and spoken English. Must be self-starter and pro-active. Be able to work independently as well as in team.
