Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the defined digital sales strategy in your specified market scope (global/regional) effectively, to improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned scope. Each day, you will execute digital sales strategy and initiatives within the assigned scope to achieve both qualitative and quantitative digital sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a critical contributor to the digital customer base growth.The work model for the role is: RemoteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries division.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tSelling digital solutions to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.•\tEstablishing and maintaining effective customer relationships (including customers’ Digital stakeholders) to understand customer their needs, promoting customer their understanding of full ABB’s complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligning with them to provide a solution.•\tEnsuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.•\tPreparing sales plans using company ABB authorized tools.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic and high performing team, where you will be able to thriveThis position reports to Global Director - Head of Sales Americas & PIP WW BL Digital
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field required8+ years of experience driving digital transformation for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (Process, Energy, software, technology, automation). Deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends.Experience selling industrial software environment; Division-specific industry exposure (industrial automation/advanced software/…) preferred; experience and background in the pulp & paper industry.Proven track record in customer focus, exposure to customer top management, consultative selling, driving results and turning opportunities into sales successes.Proven experience in driving digital development for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (Process, Energy, software, technology, automation).Change management experience is a strong plus.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.Availability to travel, internationally as required.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
