As part of our International Leadership program MOVE, you will join the laboratory division of our local market organisation as a Sales Specialist.
In this role, you will be responsible for sales and account management of our analytical product range for designated accounts in the Southeast region, including Cambridge, Oxford, and London. You start in the UK and then take on an international assignment either in Germany, Switzerland or the US.
Stage 1: As a Sales Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities:Increase UK sales within the designated Strategic Business Unit (SBU)Target specific high-potential accounts and opportunitiesGather account and market intelligence to develop effective account penetration strategiesUtilize the provided sales tools to their fullest potentialSuccessfully develop and maintain business relationshipsReport on business trends and area performance to the Sales Team Leader and Sales ManagerFoster and maintain effective relationships with all internal functionsStage 2: International AssignmentAfter a successful first assignment in UK, we will have an international assignment ready for you, expected to last about one year.For example, you might be based in one of our locations in Germany, Switzerland or US.Stage 3: First Leadership RoleOnce you have excelled the 3-year period, you will be offered a management position in one of our organizations as the next step of your general management career with us.What You Need to SucceedEducation: A post graduate degree from a top internationally recognized university (Master’s, Diploma, or PhD) in Biomedical Sciences or Biotechnology.Work Experience: 2-4 years of applied experience in a technical or commercial role within the industry, or experience with a business that supplies equipment to life sciences institutes or organizations.International Experience: Studies or work experience abroad.Mobility: Willingness to travel and relocate.Soft Skills: An entrepreneurial mindset with a "can-do" attitude, a knack for technology solutions, resilience, commitment, and clear potential for future leadership in our dynamic, diverse, and technology-driven company.Languages: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.Our Offer to YouWe will support you with a great opportunity to take over your first leadership role and develop your strength in an international work environment.
