As a Sales Specialist, you’ll be a key player in driving excellence within the Surgical Reconstruction channel. You will empower healthcare professionals—hospitals, surgeons, nurses, and distributors—by delivering technical expertise, hands-on training, and clinical guidance that supports groundbreaking solutions in dermal matrices, tendons, and nerves. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
Lead the development, maintenance and improvement of sales training and technical support for field work at Distributors, Hospitals, Doctors & Surgeons, Nurses and other KOL.Evaluate in real time changes in competition and portfolio, surgical techniques, and market trends to be aligned with the portfolio and the market in the region.Assist in the development of sales training material for specific products, including review and recommendations for new ideas, training concepts and development to better serve our segment.Collaborates with Marketing, Professional Education and the Sales team to deliver training consistent with Marketing and new product launch plans.Through self-learning and interaction with cross-functional subject matter experts, develop a high level of subject matter expertise for the responsible portfolio of products to design and deliver training events, training resources, home study programs, and assessment tools.· Actively Manages the Field Sales Training program, including the selection process, skill development, and utilization of the team.
· Develops product-oriented training materials in partnership with marketing to help develop product profiles, competitive analyses, presentations, product updates and content for corporate marketing vehicles.
Collaborate with sales team to prepares annual budget forecasts for the training functions related to the portfolio.· Collaborates with sales and marketing to ensure a high quality of sales support in terms of new product/market introductions, sales training programs, and regular communication, both responsive as well as proactive.
· Establishes and maintains key close professional relationships with internal and external constituents to stay abreast of new training needs in sales competency and product/marketplace knowledge opportunities.
· Manages and coordinates sales training activities together professional education team, sales team and distributors.
· Maintains up-to-date product and industry knowledge through routine and frequent review of the literature, co-traveling with field sales personnel, attending surgeries, etc.
Participates in strategic sales and marketing planning activities for assigned portfolio to identify key targets, surgeons, and hospitals by specific productEducation:
Degree in Nursing, postgraduate degree in Stomatherapy (desirable).Proven experience with Tissue Technologies and/or AWC (advanced wound treatment), in a hospital surgical environment and patient support.Experience with regenerative products is encouraged.+ 5 years of experience supporting sales and/or technical sales with a hospital focus on a medical device company.Experience in support and training a medical device sales team in Brazil (desirable in Latam).Experience with product / technology in the operating room is desirable.Strong project management and team collaboration skills required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese (Native) and English and Spanish (advanced) are required.Demonstrated ability for strategic thinking, planning.Commitment to learning and personal development.The average need for travel is approximately 60% (Brazil and Latam countries).Tools and Equipment Used:
Ability to utilize a computer, personal electronic devices (iPad and IPhone), as well as other general office equipment.Strong computer skills are required. Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Suite of Products including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook or similar.Driver license is required.
