Sales Strategy & Operations Business Partner

What you'll do What you’ll do: In this role, you will be a highly visible and independent inspiring leader and operator playing a key role in scaling the Sales Strategy and Operations team. You will work on topics that range from transformational sales strategy to the nuts and bolts of sales operations. You will do this through a combination of analytical insight, strong business acumen, and robust cross-functional partnerships with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Finance and HR. You will work closely with EMEA Sales Leadership to set sales strategy and medium/long term goals for the Commercial EMEA business. You will then own the execution of many of these initiatives, supporting them with ad hoc reporting and analysis along the way. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, EMEA Sales Strategy and Operations. Responsibility: Business Partner for the VP of EMEA Commercial Sales to drive growth in the region Define and drive cross-functional strategic projects passionate about improving our go-to-market (GTM) engine Bring thought leadership and strategic thinking to projects ranging from go-to-market design to internal operations Optimize GTM strategy including core sales processes, efficiency drivers, infrastructure and regional performance Lead projects end-to-end, ensuring cross-team collaboration Develop models to predict business performance, support long-range planning, and see opportunities for improvements Design reporting cadence, governance, and data strategy for the EMEA sales organization Develop and deliver presentations to senior leaders and executives Develop and supervise KPIs at global and regional levels Define systems, tools, and business requirements for multifaceted Field Sales programs Operate with a high degree of autonomy Assist with ad hoc requests and projects from the sales organization Stay up-to-date with industry trends in Field Sales Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic: BS/BA degree or equivalent in work experience 8+ years of top-notch experience in a Sales Strategy Operations role Deep experience with Salesforce.com, PowerPoint and Excel Experience with data visualization tools e.g. Tableau Have wide-ranging experience; uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve sophisticated issues in creative and effective ways Have wide-ranging experience working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors Preferred: Experience working closely with senior sales leaders, prior exposure to high-growth work environments Strong understanding of SaaS business models and Commercial go-to-market principles are all highly desirable Comfortable and flexible working in a fast-paced environment High degree of intellectual curiosity and self confidence Well-developed ability to bring structured thinking into highly ambiguous and open-ended problem situations, then strive to consensus Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
