Sales Intern – Summer 2025 – Various Locations
Opportunity:
As Sales Intern, you are responsible for completing sales-related projects/assignments. You will gain hands-on experience in Smurfit Westrock’s sales environment learning how we go to market. By the end of your assignment, our mission is to have positively impacted your curriculum and career goals in preparation for life after college.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock
• Analyze data sets to identify key potential new market segments and customers
• Create lead lists for the Sales Team and track progress through sales funnel
• Make outbound calls/emails to potential customers to collect market data
• Manage a Marketing data set and/or CRM tool to refine and track opportunities
• Create customer-facing presentations to highlight WestRock’s value
• Research prospects/customers to find buyers/influencers and actionable market intelligence
What you need to succeed:
• Currently enrolled in a college/university
• Be a critical thinker with the ability to think and convey abstract ideas/concepts
• Display a desire to learn through intellectual curiosity
• Integrity and commitment to high ethical standards
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills
