The Sales Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of a team of licensed health agents engaged in promoting and selling plans by phone.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises daily activities of non-exempt licensed agent or customer service representative teams of 10-20 employees. Responsible for approving timecards, scheduling, and time off requests.Duties/Responsibilities:
Coach team of sales agents to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goalsManage day to day call center activities to include: monitoring key performance sale indicator reports, agent adherence, sales floor assistanceEnsure employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobs and assist with difficult or escalated callsConduct real-time phone monitoring and coach agents to effectively use rebuttals to improve sales, using a variety of systemsMaintain industry and product knowledgeMeet and/or exceed call center key metricsGeneral understanding of workforce managementEnsure applications are submitted accurately and on timeUnderstand and adhere to all Company Carrier and/or CMS related policies and proceduresPerform other related duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:
High School Diploma or equivalentPrevious experience with Medicare Advantage salesA current and valid Health License6 months experience in a sales call center environmentPrevious experience leading a team of 10+ employeesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and work independentlyMust be detail-oriented, motivated, self-starter, with excellent time management and organization skillsAbility to resolve escalated issues with members, carriers and other clientsAble to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekendsPreferred Skills/Abilities:
1 year experience in a Medicare sales leadership roleStrong understanding of Medicare rules and CMS guidelinesPrevious experience with an outbound dialing programProven track record in maintaining high retention rates within sales teams, demonstrating strong engagement skills in a remote environmentExperience with training/coaching Medicare sales agentsBachelor’s DegreePhysical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and/or standing, working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)Able to wear headset for duration of shiftOur centers are consistent with CDC guidelines and align with local government orders pertaining to all Company physical locations in relation to COVID-19.
