Sales Support and Order Processing Coordinator

Main position objectives

The Sales Support and Order Processing Coordinator supports the MAAG Americas Sales and Inside Sales teams to process orders and develop quotes and proposals.  The incumbent will be responsible to check opportunities and orders for accuracy.

Enter orders in the ERP systems (Syteline, SAP) with precision Review quotes and proposals for new capital equipment for accuracy Review Purchase Orders and reconcile with quotes Manage customer communication and achieving expectations Identify and resolve commercial issues and change orders Generate reports to support sales and marketing Core Competency:  Customer focussed and driven Core Competency:  Communication skills Core Competency:  Solutioning, creative problem solving

Work Environment

Work in this position is predominately conducted in a temperature controlled environment within a cubical space, office, or meeting room using a computer and standard office tools.  Periodic visits to the manufacturing and assembly areas in the plant are required at times.  The employee may be exposed to higher temperatures and humidity while in the plant as it is not air conditioned.  While in the plant the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and elevated noise levels.  Proper PPE (hearing protection, safety glasses, safety toed footwear) is required to be worn in the plant.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to interact with both internal and external customers in person, via phone, email, Teams, text, etc.  Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written, and be able to listen and comprehend.  This position can be high paced therefore the employee must be able to adapt to stressful situations.   The employee is required to sit or stand for long durations of time while working on a computer.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  While in the plant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing may be required. Occasional prolonged sitting when traveling to another facility.
