This includes related functions of development of new components and trays including creating and managing digital image files.
Creates clear and concise building instructions for the assembly of custom procedure trays. Develops prototype custom procedure trays. This includes, but is not limited to, calling vendors, working with warehouse to have inventory pulled, building prototypes, creating labels, capturing / recording associated costs for samples, and making shipping arrangements. Completes component sample requests.Assists in maintaining sample room inventory levels of components.Completes sales orders for components pulled from warehouse to allow proper inventory deductions.Provides assistance to Production for any questions regarding the custom procedure tray assembly requirements for the customers during the manufacturing process.Reviews, evaluates, and makes suggested improvements by working with Product Engineering Coordinator, Quote Specialist, Sales Representative, Operations, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, and Process Engineering departments. Communicates unique component configurations to Quote Specialists, Product Engineering Coordinator, Purchasing, Production, and Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs, and Process Engineering departments as needed.Ensures Sample Room appearance and cleanliness standards are maintained.Supports production and the production sequencing team as needed in the review of sequencing.Uses camera and photography software to capture component and tray images.Creates new or updated visual work instructions pertaining to tray sequencing.Manages the visual work instruction database through to creation and updating as needed.Provides component photos as requested from the sales team.Assists with special projects for sales representatives, customers, and sales management team.Participates in any CI initiatives as needed to support the business.Assumes additional responsibilities/duties as requested by immediate supervisor, other management personnel or as business need dictates.High School diploma or GED required.Sales support/customer service experience; knowledge of Health Care industry preferred.Exceptional customer service/interpersonal skillsSpeaks clearly, persuasively and professionally in positive or negative situations. Listens and is able to get clarity. Is able to work through complicated, involved questions with assistance from teammates or Manager. Ability to calculate basic mathematical figuresAbility to perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and with strong attention-to-detail.Strong work ethic, proven ability to work independently and make decisions demonstrating good judgmentDemonstrated adaptability to a changing work environment and varying daily tasksMust have basic hands-on Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience.
