**Position Summary:**
Reporting directly to the SVP, Sales & Opertaions APJ, the Sales Support Associate will deliver high-level adminstrative and strategic support to the regional sales team, aligning with the overall APJ strategy. This role will be responsible for providing sales support functions and supporting marketing initiatives, enabling go-to-market teams to focus on client relationships and decision-making. This role will also manage various administrative tasks for the regional leadership team to support day-to-day operations.
By contributing to the efficiency of operations and the execution of key projects, the Sales Support Associate will play a pivotal role in driving regional sales performance and fostering the long-term growth and success of the APJ region.
***This is a hybrid position and the successful candidate is ideally located in Melbourne.**
**Key Responsibilities:**
Sales Support
+ Prepare reports, presentations, and documents as needed such as pipeline trend analysis and sales representative performance.
+ Analyse sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimise sales processes.
+ Collaborate with sales team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of bid management activities
+ Support the management of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (SalesForce) to accurately track leads, opportunities and customer interactions.
+ Assist sales and solution engineering teams with proposal development and presentation preparation.
+ Assist sales and solution engineering teams to maximise online presence through social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn).
+ Where appropriate, communicate directly with clients and their associated support teams to foster long-term strategic relationships.
+ Coordinate training and enablement within the local team.
+ Support Channel development team to ensure timely communication with our local partners
Marketing Support
+ Assist with coordinating logistics for events hosted and/or sponsored by InEight, both in-person and digital.
+ Where required, attend marketing events to facilitate successful experiences for attendees.
+ Assist in the conduction and collation of regional competitor analysis to be shared with global teams.
Executive/Admin Support
+ Provide administrative support to senior leadership, including scheduling, email management, and travel arrangements.
+ Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up outstanding action items.
+ Prepare and coordinate internal stakeholder events including Sales Kick Off and Mid-Year Sales Review, as well as other events required by senior leadership.
+ Prepare and coordinate customer meetings for the leadership team in conjunction with relevant internal teams.
+ Provide liaison services between InEight and Facilities Management for the Melbourne office, including landlord and maintenance teams.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business or an equivalent field is considered advantageous.
+ 5+ years of experience as a Marketing/Sales/Executive Assistant, preferably in a technology/software environment.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
+ Advanced proficiency in CRM tools (SalesForce preferred).
+ Previous experience in applicable marketing software and/or design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) is considered advantageous.
+ Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and influence others within other teams/departments.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to craft engaging messages.
+ Excellent time management and multitasking skills, with a proactive approach to juggling key priorities and meeting deadlines.
+ Demonstrated understanding of office management and sales/marketing principles.
+ Ability to prepare and analyse data and derive insights in clear and concise terms.
+ Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative environments supporting cross-functional teams.
