Due to team location, we need candidates to be in EST or CST, and able to do EST schedule.
In this role, you will:
+ Monitoring and Managing 4 channel inboxes which includes high volume of quote requests for new business and renewals
+ CRM administration in Sales Force - including understand new sales and renewals and how to route accordingly
+ Actively read and understand the email inquiry – really focusing on efficiency and accuracy
+ Coordinate and track quote requests between Distributor, Partner, and Progress sales
+ Active use of Salesforce for determining if there is a new and renewal opportunity
+ Understand the Progress business units software solutions portfolio to ensure proper routing of emails
+ Assist with on boarding of new partners – where to go on Partner Portal and where to find information about Progress partner programs
+ Contact sales team members to align partner opportunities
+ Interface with Sales and Partners on Sales Opportunities and Orders
+ Assist with Input/follow up of partner submitted deal registrations
+ Have general knowledge of how to use the Progress Community to better support our partners questions around customer support, product versions and overall general inquiries related to products and support options
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Your background:
+ Bachelor’s Degree Optional but preferred.
+ Some applicable experience in a sales support role.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Teams
+ Experience SalesForce.com or similar CRM system.
+ Ability to utilize Internet search and reporting functions.
+ Professional demeanor and exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Ability to listen carefully to partners and team members to take and follow direction
+ Ability to work independently while in a fast-paced, high-energy and fun team environment.
+ Ability to manage a high volume number of emails – quick read and trafficking to right sales resources.
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
+ Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
+ Ability to communicate and collaborate closely with multiple resources inside and outside of company
+ Understanding of the IT industry and how products sold through channel partners is required, know the difference between a customer and a partner
+ Understanding of 2 tier distribution and reseller ecosystems
+ Understanding of Software sales – new and renewals, perpetual and subscription
