Sales Support Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Street Sales team. This position helps drive account growth and profitability by undertaking administrative job duties as it pertains to the Street Sales department.
Location: Calgary
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30 PM MST
Essential Functions:
Create and maintain templates for new business proposals, price quotes, and business reviews.
Assist Sales Leadership Team with contract maintenance through CLM
Responsible for creating & managing Google groups and sales contact websites
Assist the sales team booking travel
Create and maintain templates for sales reporting tools
Run pertinent reports for District Sales Managers, District Sales Representatives, and Inside Support Representatives
Collaborate with Prairies Coordinators to maintain Prairies Portal Website
Creates weekly markdown catalogs/flyers
Collaborates with other departments to meet all customer needs, internal reporting and customer record keeping
Provide customer impact reporting on long-term out of stock notifications
Support Inside Sales Team in order entry, daily reporting and various activities
Additional Ad hoc requests as required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Good time management skills.
Ability to perform 10-key data entry
Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills with great attention to detail.
Excellent in using the Google platform (Gmail, Google Drive, Sheets, Docs and Slides)
Proficient in graphic design platforms such as Canva
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
Encourage collaboration with others to achieve a common goal
Willingness to take initiative and ability to embrace change
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
Ability to learn and use SAP, CRM, CLM, Gordon Ordering, and other various systems
Industry and product knowledge is an asset.
Education and Experience
Minimum Grade 12 with High School Diploma
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, sales or Marketing preferred
One year previous sales, business, or food service experience with an interest in food business practices and food preparation or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
