Sales Support Generalist

As this role covers multiple functions under the Sales Support tower, here are the responsibilities of the Sales Support Generalist -
 

Accountabilities:

Buyer Services

Customer Service SkillsCommunicates comfortably in EnglishExpresses themselves confidently in writing and speakingCarries out meaningful conversation with internal and external clientKnowledgeable in Show Specific InformationNavigates and explores websites while understanding its contentsAssists and walks customer through (attendee and exhibitor) via various communication channelsCompletes the task based on the specified guidelines using the applicable tools and systems

Data Management

Generates leads for our events based on show brief provided by BUEnriches current database through internet researchUpdates or removes existing contacts in the database through internet researchValidates existing contacts/leads in our databaseExtraction of company details from a competitor show and doing on-line research to find qualified contacts based on BU criteria Sends report to Operations Supervisor / POC

Event Registration

Customer Service SkillsCarries out meaningful conversations with internal and external clientsCommunicates comfortably in EnglishExpresses themselves confidently in writing and speakingKnowledgeable in Show Specific InformationNavigates and explores different registration tools while understanding its contentCompletes the task, based on the specified guidelines using the applicable tools and systems

Event Relations

Executes campaigns to invite visitors to attend our eventProactively calls visitors or exhibitors to disseminate information and/or conduct surveysCalls existing contacts in our database to validate and/or update their informationCalls prospects and invites them to meet with exhibitors/suppliers of an eventExecutes other non-revenue telemarketing campaigns as directed by the BU

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree holder, any degreeAt least 1 year of relevant experienceExperience dealing with various stakeholders in a global perspectiveExperience in lead generation preferredExperience in back-office support for e-mails and chatCall Taking experience
