We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our Service Sales Support Department. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the successful planning of our service projects. Your ability to deeply understand our diverse product portfolio and translate that knowledge into precise technical scopes of work will be essential in driving operational success and delivering value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Technical Scopes: Create detailed technical scopes of work for a range of services, including service projects, service agreements, and dry-docking activities. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with sales, engineering, and operational teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with customer requirements. Product Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of Wärtsilä Gas Solutions’ product range, serving as the go-to technical resource within the Service Sales Department. Drive Innovation: Identify opportunities for improvement in technical documentation and processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the technical liaison between internal teams, resolving queries and ensuring project alignment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Solid technical understanding of gas solutions products and systems. Proven experience in preparing and executing detailed technical scopes of work in a service or project-based environment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. A proactive, detail-oriented, and self-driven approach to work.
