Your role and responsibilitiesAs an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion Business.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tAssist with the training and mentorship of sales personnels, assess technical and sales skills and provide suggestions for development when gaps are identified.•\tEnsure that ABB meets customer expectations and all contractual obligations.•\tFoster strong and effective relationships with internal and external customers •\tFocus effort in supporting and growing EDI, SYS to SYS, VIP, ABB SHOP from 20% to 50% of ABB NEMAs order intake•\tMaintain integrity of process and supporting documentation as required for effective support and audit. •\tLearn all aspects of the internal audit process and its procedures including roles and responsibilities•\tWork to resolve system issues and enhance performance related to sales program transactions. Evaluate, establish, and enhance varying sales transaction processes to ensure efficiency and risk minimization.•\tProject Based User Acceptance Testing for all SD applications as required•\tSupport in Establishing Sales SOPs, and assist all sales Support efforts when required•\tAssist with IS change management (SolMan tickets), via the completion of the approval and UAT requirements•\tCreate and execute transactions using process automation tools as required
Qualifications for the role\tCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Engineering in the United States. \tIntern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. \tMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. \tUtilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions\tEffectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines\tDemonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality\tCollaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
