Sales Systems Manager
Sales Systems Manager _Location: Remote_ The Sales Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all sales-related systems and technology. This role involves working closely with the sales and IT departments to ensure that our sales technology stack is fully integrated and aligned with our business strategies. The Sales System Manager will report directly to the Manager of Sales Operations and manage two direct reports. **Primary Responsibilities** : + Manage and optimize the implementation and integration of sales systems, including CRM (Salesforce), sales automation tools, and performance tracking software. + Collaborate with IT, Sales, and Marketing teams to identify system needs and efficiencies; Develop solutions, configurations, automations to enhance sales productivity and drive business value; including troubleshooting on behalf of Sales. + Provide ongoing training and support to the Sales team on new and existing sales systems and tools. This includes new hire onboarding, feature release training. + Monitor system performance, generate reports, and provide insights to drive sales strategy, system/feature adoption, and decision-making. + Lead cross-functional projects to streamline sales processes and data flow across various platforms. + Identify when a release is not working as intended and offer improvements to IT. + Ensure sales system compliance with data protection regulations and company policies. + Stay up-to-date with the latest sales technology trends and innovations. Including reviewing Salesforce’s annual feature release material. + Ensure data integrity across sales systems (i.e., sales opportunities are up to date, source system data is accurate, data building visuals are clean and reliable, custom objectives are of value.) + Own continuous assessment of current sales systems and tools for effectiveness, functionality overlap, to ensure full leverage, and to deliver best value. This includes user and budget management, and collaboration with Procurement and Finance. + Oversee evaluation of sales orders from various teams for order entry compliance, commission payout, and fraudulent escalation. + Partner with team lead on owning contract management for procurement business owner and co-ops. This includes entering new and updating existing contracts in organization’s contract management platform. + Provide Sales org support with data requests, reporting, KPI management, and general inquiries. **Experience** : + Sales Process Management: Experience developing, implementing, and refining sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. + Integration of Sales Tools: Experience with integrating various sales tools and platforms to create a cohesive sales technology stack. + Strong understanding of CRM best practices. + 2-5 years experience in sales operations, sales systems management, or a similar role. + Proficiency with Salesforce, Sales Loft, Zoom Info and sales automation tools. + Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. + Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, and strong problem-solving abilities. + Exceptional communication and training skills. **Fortive Corporation Overview** Fortive’s essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
