Sales Trainer, Geisinger Health Plan (Pennsylvania resident)
Job Summary

Our successful candidate will partner with the Health Insurance Sales, Product, Marketing, and other key stakeholders to develop sales training for Medicare and Commercial lines of business. In addition, will develop programs and provide support for sales professional development, team onboarding, and other skillsets as identified to provide continuous learning and development opportunities.

Job Duties

Creates a comprehensive training curriculum and training materials for the Sales Team to include, but not limited to: Health Insurance Product, Compliance, Selling Skills, and Sales Systems. Also responsible for the delivery of training curriculum to internal employees and external brokers. Works closely with sales leaders and others to identify key product, systems, sales and process/procedure training needs. This position works closely with Sales , Product, and Marketing to lead content development and production of training materials. Develops program training and tracks employee completion/results.

Develops an understanding of our plans and strategies used with both current customers and prospective segments.Creates and organizes clear, cohesive and engaging content for direct-to-consumer sales for both print and digital formats.Creates high-impact visual presentations and/or info graphics for business and direct-to-consumer groups.Works collaboratively and creatively with entire team to support the execution of acquisition, engagement and retention strategies and tactics using traditional and emerging marketing techniquesCoordinates the development of Medicare sales training curriculum for ongoing education and sales procedures and process improvement efforts.Develops general Sales training for improving sales skills (soft sales skills, closing skills, etc.) for the field and call center staff.Schedules in-person and/or virtual trainings for the Medicare Sales team. Administers re-training to address identified trends and deficiencies.Develops annual product specific training, creates course, uploads modules and assessment questions into the online Learning Management System.Develops annual product presentations used for internal Sales training, Broker training, and summits/conferences.Works closely with leaders and other departments to identify key training needs.Uploads all training materials and content into QuickBase for compliance purposes.Participates in CMS audits representing the Health Plan as the subject matter expert on Medicare Advantage training.Manages the design and development of the Quick Reference Guide. Assists with the construction, testing and refinement of call guides for telephonic communications. Oversees Medicare Sales agent on-boarding training.Assists Marketing with the review/revision of plan materials.As new systems and procedures are introduced this position is critical as part of testing and training of these new systems

Position Details

Medicare and Commercial Insurance experience preferred    

Work from home with ability to work on-site for meetings and training sessions.
