A day in the life.
As our Sales Trainer Specialist on the MMA National Team, you’ll work with the Sales Development team to prepare and execute best in class training programs for our sales producers in the Southeast and South Central regions (MD, WV, VA, KY, TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, TX, OK). The Sales Trainer will foster relationships across MMA to build a strong training network to deliver programs that will support individual and agency growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with Regions to understand Region specific needs
Stay up to date on regional objectives/priorities
Meet regularly with each Regional Producer Development Leader
Learn sales processes through lens of each region
Coordinate sales trainings in all three regions
Help manage new hire training programs
Logistics and partnership planning
Preparing guest speakers
Participate in producer meetings to help identify areas of opportunity for development
Create and implement workshops to address trending areas of development
Both virtual and in person training sessions
Identify needs for additional trainings
Provide 1 on 1 sales coaching

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
Bachelor's degree
Experience in Insurance industry
At least 3 years of experience in sales, sales support, training, education or insurance client service role where training/facilitating/teaching was an element of the role
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, strong typing ability
Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
Strong presentation skills
Project management / program coordination skills
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
Working knowledge of sales methodology (e.g. IMPAX, Integrity Selling, New Sales. Simplified) preferred
Salesforce and/or Appinium exposure
Experience selling a strategic/consultative service
Experience leading projects, programs, and/or cross-functional teams
Experience effectively collaborating with multiple leadership teams to accomplish producer development goals

The applicable base salary range for this role is $58,200 to $108,500.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
