Better. **SCOPE OF POSITION:** The Sales Training Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that impact the effectiveness and productivity of the CS sales organization. Will provide group and one-on-one training with a primary goal of improving selling skills, use of sales processes and tools, and new products. Will partner with sales leadership to align training strategies to business objectives. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** _To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, including but not necessarily limited to the following:_ + Develops & leads the CS Sales & Installation Learning Center program. + Creates, manages and enhances customer training content & approaches. + Leads the “Train the Trainer” program and processes for trainers and subject matter experts, sharing best practices to ensure quality delivery and effectiveness. + Engages sales leaders and SMEs on improvement and effective implementation of sales processes; such as Sales Force, Show pad, etc. + Oversees the content development and delivery of continuous learning systems for “New Hire” (Level1); Developing (Level 2); Advanced (Level 3); and Role Model (Level 4); moving our sales team members from a product selling to a more solution focused approach. Ensure that sales teams have proper balance of sales & technical knowledge to sell our broad portfolio of solutions. + Creates and oversees the content and training approaches for an installation training program. + Assist in the development of a competency framework for the sales function aligning development to acquire desired skill level. + Partners as appropriate with SME’s to manage, expand & improve Personal Learning module content and standardize distribution. + Participates in regional sales meetings and Rep Advisory Board meetings to collect Voice of the Customer input (VOC) to enhance continuous learning systems & processes. + Supports and manages professional Continuing Education Unit learning module submittal and approval processes (e.g. AIA). + Supports training content for national and regional sales meeting events to support sales development initiatives (e.g. CS Continuous Learning Courses). + Drives improvement with training systems – assesses and proposes technology systems for sales training with a primary goal of an optimal user experience. **Qualifications** **KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION:** (Minimum Education and/or Experience required) + Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; 2 years’ experience in commercial specification sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Technical/product/solution knowledge and skills for all CS products & solutions preferred. + Knowledge/understanding of construction processes + Good computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Salesforce + Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, architectural plans & details is desired. **COMPETENCIES:** + Passion for continuous learning + Teacher/coach; ability to train and develop sales personnel + Self-motivated, results driven and assertive + Excellent verbal (presentation skills), written, interpersonal communication and ability to listen & ask questions + Relationship building skills; Comfortable and experienced working at multiple levels within an organization + Innovation and Problem Solving Ability + Collaborative, demonstrated skill in driving process improvement and delivering change without direct line of reporting **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** **:** + Sales Training Team + #LI-JA1 **Primary Location** : US-NJ-Lebanon : Sales **Travel** : Yes, 15 % of the Time **Employee Type:** : Full-Time Regular **Req ID:** 2500022
