The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Salesforce Administrator to join our Data Research team & help our organization strengthen sales strategies & solve business challenges through optimized use & data management of the Salesforce Platform.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting users, managing data, maintaining security standards, & delivering actionable analytics.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce setup, configuration, management, & report creation. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce best practices and the ability to drive business success through innovative solutions derived from data analysis from the platform.

ResponsibilitiesSalesforce Administration: Managing & supporting the Salesforce instance, including customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validations, workflow & approval rules, sharing rules, permission sets, & triggers.User Management: Creating & managing user accounts, profiles, roles, & permissions to ensure appropriate access levels & data security.Data Management: Ensuring data integrity through data cleansing strategies, validation rules, & data import/export procedures – performing regular data audits & backups. Customization & Configuration: Adapting Salesforce to fit the organization’s unique workflows, processes, & data models by creating custom fields, objects, layouts, &user interfacesWorkflows & Automation: Designing & implementing automation such as flows, approval processes, & triggers to reduce manual tasks & increase efficiency.Reporting & Analytics: Building & maintaining custom reports, dashboards, & visualizations to provide valuable insights into business performance & enable data-driven decision-makingTraining & Support: Providing training, documentation, & ongoing support to users to drive adoption & effective use of Salesforce.System Upgrades & Maintenance: Performing system upgrades, install high-priority updates, & ensure optimal performance of Salesforce systems.Integration Management: Managing & maintaining data integrations with third-party software used across the business.Project Management: Leading & managing Salesforce projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery & alignment with business objectives.Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with business partners across Sales, Marketing, Operations, & other departments to define & manage project scoping, define requirements, & prioritize activities.QualificationsSalesforce Administrator Certification or 5+ years’ experience in Salesforce administration including setup, configuration, & management of Salesforce systems.Advanced experience in Salesforce report creation & analytics.Proficiency in designing, building, implementing, & testing Salesforce Flows.Familiarity with Salesforce best practices & ability to implement them effectively.Experience with Salesforce Sales, Service, Marketing, and/or CPQ Clouds.Strong problem-solving & analytical skills to identify inefficiencies & troubleshoot issues.Excellent communication skills to effectively gather requirements, translate them into solutions & provide training for users of various skill levels.Experience in managing Salesforce projects, including creating & maintaining project plans, monitoring progress, & ensuring successful delivery.Ability to keep pace with frequent Salesforce updates & a passion for continuous learning & improvement.Preferred Qualifications:Additional Certifications: Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant Community Involvement: Active participation in the Salesforce community.Project Management: Experience in change management and governance.
