The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce environment, ensuring data integrity, and providing user support. Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining Salesforce applications, creating and managing custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules, and developing reports and dashboards. The Salesforce Administrator will also handle user management, including roles, profiles, and permissions, and provide training and support to end-users. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential for this role.Responsibilities:The administrator in this role will be responsible for all Salesforce administration tasks. Salesforce Administrator certification and 3-6 years’ experience are required for this role.Responsibilities include:Process AutomationCreate, maintain, and enhance automated business processesUse tools such as Flow to build automations within SalesforceAdvise and implement process automation within Salesforce, ensuring accurate documentationOversee the execution of day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of Salesforce, including the creation of custom objects and fieldsAlso including assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administrationTroubleshoot issues as they arise (via internal ticketing system or SFDC Cases)Maintain understanding of basic triggers/Apex codeChange ManagementPossess knowledge of deployment strategies and processes, using Copado for sandbox à production deploymentsCoordinate with/assist Change Management in developing and sharing communication regarding platform changesSecurity ManagementMaintain the Salesforce security model, including roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permission setsWork with Dev team on OWD and object sharing settingsEnsure that Salesforce implementation adheres to corporate security standards, complete regular internal system audits, and prepare for system upgradesProactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and OptimizerBusiness AnalysisImprove business processes and efficiency in Salesforce using strong business analysis skillsAnalyze business processes and make data-driven recommendations for improvementPossess a deep understanding of Salesforce products, features, and best practices and use that understanding when responding to business enhancement requestsData ManagementMonitor and update Salesforce data including importing, exporting, and mass updating of dataImplement rules and automation/validation as neededUser Management & SupportOversee all administrative functions within Salesforce, including the creation and maintenance of user profiles and permissions (following Salesforce and LexisNexis best practices/recommendations)Troubleshoot problems and implement suitable solutions in a timely mannerMaintain Salesforce SkillsStay informed of Salesforce enhancements and new features and participate in the “knowledge share”3rd Party Tool SupportOutreachZoomLISNAICertifications (required)Admin ICertifications (preferred)Admin IIAbout UsRELX is a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers.
