Job Title : Salesforce Administrator
Location : Remote
The Salesforce Administrator will work independently and alongside a team of project managers, developers, and consultants to support critical sales efforts at Pearson VUE/Certiport. With strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices, technical configurations skills, and the ability to gather requirements, the Salesforce Administrator will work with the Sales team to gather requirements, build & present solutions, manage timelines, budgets and deliverables, train the sales team on Salesforce, and ensure overall project success.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Undergo deep, technical business process discovery and create trusted solutions built on best practices. Work directly with management to translate business objectives into technical requirements. Provide front-line support for users (answering questions, helping with report definitions, resolving issues, fulfilling requests). Monitor and resolve all opportunity - syncing issues with Portal. Monitor discount quote and zero-dollar product opportunity approvals. Responsible for ensuring timely updates are complete for all users, including integrations with other programs/systems Onboard and train new Salesforce users. Responsible for direct ownership of a particular project or work stream for larger projects. Customize Salesforce including layouts, detail pages, custom objects and flows in Salesforce Lightning. Stay up to date with new features and product launches from Salesforce and other technology partners.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role working with clients in a consulting capacity. Experience with project management methodologies and familiarity with best practices as it relates to Salesforce projects. Strong knowledge of standard Lightning components and Lightning App Pages. One or more current Salesforce certificates (Admin, Consultant certifications, Platform Developer I, App Builder). Ability to preserve confidential and sensitive customer and company information. Ability to present solutions and gather requirements from various business levels include C-suite.SKILLS
Must possess time management/communication skills, core delivery skills, critical thinking skills and is reliable while adjusting to changes in priorities. Must understand Salesforce Administration/Configuration (including Flows, Validation Rules, Object Structures, Data Migrations). Ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions while maintaining a positive attitude. Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to interact with clients a timely manner. Demonstrate a high level of business acumen and ability to understand business process across many industries. Self-starter, confident, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently or in a group. Ability to preserve confidential and sensitive customer and company information. Ability to present solutions and gather requirements from various business levels include C-suite.
