Job Description Come to work each day with an inclusive and collaborative US BTS Architecture and Technology Services team. As a Salesforce Architect in AbbVie’s Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team, you’ll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to create solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better. In this role you’ll be responsible for: + Defining the sustainable architecture strategy and framework for delivering lean and maintainable solutions in the Salesforce platform, overseeing the technical roadmap for the salesforce org, and coming up with continuous improvements to meet the long-range plan of the business plan and meet industry trend. + Leading other Salesforce Architects and the technical team in the solutioning and designing. Acting as the technical leader for the team and helping and educating the team with technical best practices in the Salesforce ECO system. + Working with Solution Architects to provide expert level advice and participating in the ECO system solutioning that need Salesforce org involvement. + Setting the standards for the Salesforce org with the reference architecture, salesforce best practices, and design principles. + Creating and maintaining salesforce centric architecture deliverables like system landscape, platform architecture/integration architecture and flow, module-based design documents, data models, and security architecture and that they are managed per the set standards. Producing, reviewing, and approving these deliverables on day-to-day basis as part of the delivery process. + Creating technical roadmaps for the salesforce org and influencing the business, product owners and leadership team to sponsor the technical roadmap items and add to the platform roadmap. Acting as the trusted advisor for the business to design and architect solution to business problems. + Staying up to date with the salesforce releases, features, and functionalities and providing guidance on leveraging new capabilities during the solutioning and design phase; identifying technical debt items in the platform that were built using older salesforce technology/features and ensuring they are addressed on time. + Building proof of concepts (POC) to enable business needs with salesforce technology, features, and functionalities. Qualifications Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role: Required + Bachelor's Degree with 8 years’ experience; Master's Degree with 7 years’ experience; or a PhD with 3 years’ of experience. + 6+ years of experience in implementing and delivering solutions built on Salesforce platform and exposure to Service Cloud implementation. + Hands on experience with Apex, Triggers, LWC, Flows, Visualforce Pages, and Integration features. + Experience integrating Salesforce with other Salesforce and Non-Salesforce systems using OOB features and custom-built APIs. + Requires in‐depth knowledge of the systems development life cycle, client area’s functions and systems, and systems application program development technological alternatives. + 4+ years of work experience executing large scale projects. + Experience in business requirements analysis, Solution architecture, designing, and solution delivery. + Experience with Web development in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks. + Exposure and understanding of enterprise architecture principles and Salesforce Well architected concepts. + Experience implementing scalable and sustainable Salesforce solutions using best architecture principles. + 3+ years of managing large scale Salesforce org as principal architect leading large technical team and Salesforce architects. + Exposure to Object Oriented Design and design patterns. + Working experience in the Agile Delivery frameworks. Beneficial + Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. + Salesforce Health Cloud experience. + DevOps CI/CD/CT experience in Salesforce Eco system. Open to remote anywhere in the United States.
