Join us. **Job Description** This Salesforce Business Analyst position will work under the direction of more experienced business analysts on the team. The team is part of an Enterprise Application team supporting a global user community as well as internal departments. It is a challenging environment where individuals that take initiative and are self-driven will excel. It requires the ability to participate in meetings and support users across time zones around the world, so flexibility and availability at early morning and evening hours is sometimes necessary. The primary function of the Business Analyst II is to serve as an IT subject matter expert (SME) for AECOM’s CRM and the custom applications that support the sales cycle end-to-end. The person in this this role will be primarily responsible for understanding the business processes that support the bid proposal process as well as understanding Marketing Cloud and its management of contacts. The role also requires a technical understanding of Salesforce configurations, such as validation rules, formulas, custom settings, security permissions. This role will support a custom app built using Lightning Components. A person with exposure to the Lightning platform and custom apps built in Salesforce is more likely to succeed in this role. An understanding of integration patterns is also an important need for this role. The role provides career growth in application business analysis and in solution design. The candidate will have the ability to provide input to the development of product roadmaps, design solutions, as well lead implementation efforts on large initiatives. In this role, the Business Analyst II partners with users and stakeholders to identify opportunities and needs for continuous improvement that will streamline work efforts. Management of user expectations is a critical skill for the person in this position. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively across various initiatives. It also requires the ability to develop relationships with both business stakeholders and team members across the IT organization. The ideal candidate understands the software development lifecycle and is willing to engage on all stages. If serving as an analyst/ technical resource responsible for creating solutions on the Salesforce platform with integrations to Oracle EBS and Sharepoint is of interest, we’d like to hear from you. _This position will include flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work, to be based in either Houston or Dallas, TX._ **MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:** + Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities. + Partner with team members to understand and document enhancement requests. + Build process flows to illustrate current and future processes. + Interpret data schema diagrams produced by Salesforce to understand data relationships between objects. + Collaborate with other teams to deliver integration updates or innovative solutions. + Engage in design and code reviews for new enhancements with an offshore development team. + Engage in testing activities to confirm requirements before passing on testing to business stakeholders. + Assist with release management duties by enforcing the release process and conducting component review meetings. + Monitor the test process for monthly releases by tracking statuses and completion activities. + Ensure adherence to security requirements and processes to maintain highest level of protection for source code, secure interfaces, passwords, data, etc. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** + BA/BS plus at least 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education (AS degree plus at least 4 years of relevant experience OR HS diploma plus at least 6 years of relevant experience) + Experience working with Salesforce in a business analyst capacity in an agile or agile-like environment. + Familiarity with end-to-end software development methodologies and their phases + Ability to perform data analysis to identify issues. + Understand data mapping concepts and work with direction and guidance to support integrations with Salesforce. + Ability to articulate technical concepts in a simplified manner to key business partners. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Salesforce certifications are a plus. + Ability to collaborate across IT disciplines and teams including third parties. + Ability to communicate business needs to technical people. + Ability to manage expectations with business partners and technical teams. + Prior experience with solutions that integrate with other applications or solutions is a plus. + Prior experience connecting Salesforce to Oracle EBS and Sharepoint is a plus. **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this position + Sponsorship for US work authorization is not available for this position, now or in the future Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
