First Databank (FDB) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Salesforce Commercial Operations Intern to assist in data cleanup and optimization of our Salesforce platform. This role is crucial in supporting our commercial operations team to ensure data accuracy, streamline processes, and enhance overall system efficiency.  As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in Salesforce data management, learn industry best practices, and contribute to the success of our customer and sales operations. 

 Responsibilities: 

Conduct thorough data cleanup within Salesforce, including deduplication, data validation, and standardization of records Review and correct incomplete or inaccurate data fields, ensuring alignment with organizational standards Assist in merging duplicate accounts, contacts, leads, and opportunities Collaborate with the Commercial Operations team to update and maintain accurate data related to customer accounts, sales pipelines, and activities Identify and report system inefficiencies or inconsistencies to the team Support the creation and documentation of data management processes and procedures Assist in building reports and dashboards to monitor data accuracy and overall system performance  Participate in regular meetings and provide status updates on ongoing projects

 Qualifications: 

Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field Basic understanding of CRM systems; familiarity with Salesforce is a strong plus  Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis  Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams Completion of Junior year Minimum GPA – 3.4

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in San Francisco, CA. The reasonable estimate, $25/hr.
