CGI has an immediate need for a Salesforce Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. • This position will be located in Reston, VA

• Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised applications or large/complex development projects.
• Create or update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents.
• Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate.
• Respond to trouble/support calls for applications in production in order to make quick repair to keep application in production.
• Create Visualforce and Lightening components to create custom user experiences in Salesforce.com.
• Perform basic review of code in collaboration with Administrators, to ensure long term viability, integrity, and make recommendations for enhancements and modifications to improve system performance, efficiency and reporting.
• 5-6 years of relevant experience
• Superior Salesforce development skills, including Apex, Visualforce, REST, APIs, SOQL, XML, Javascript, CSS, and HTML.
• Should be a team player and comfortable working with teams including strategy, design, admin, and project managers to implement best solution.
• Experience with Source format and Git, Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience developing applications on the SalesForce.com platform.
• Hands-on experience developing web-based applications.
• Hands-on development experience in both Salesforce Lightning (is a MUST) and Classic versions
• Familiarity with Salesforce development IDEs such as Eclipse and VS Code
• Expert Salesforce.com administrative skills, such as creating users, profiles, roles, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow rules, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and process builder
• Ability to perform data cleanup, extraction, and mass changes using data loader
• Experience managing release/upgrade cycles for Salesforce
Education:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• Salesforce Certified Developer I Dev 401 required (Developer II preferred)

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $66,300.00 - $146,900.00.
