Responsibilities

Solution Implementation:

Develop, customize, and implement solutions on Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience CloudCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize B2B and B2C Commerce Cloud solutionsContribute to the Order Management System (OMS) implementations and enhancementsManage deployment pipelines and release processes, leveraging tools like Copado (preferred)Take ownership of projects and deliver quality solutions within timelinesCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and provide innovative solutions aligned with Owens & Minor’s core values.Utilize knowledge of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and Marketing Cloud to enhance customer-facing and internal processes

Integration & Technical acumen:

Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systemsOversee the implementation of complex Salesforce features, such as custom objects, Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and flowsEnsure the quality and performance of the implemented solutions through code reviews, testing, and optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other systems and external data sourcesEnsure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocolsTroubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring platform stability and performance

QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experienceStrong expertise in Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud development and customizationProficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIsRelevant Salesforce certifications are preferred, such as Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud or B2B Commerce Cloud SpecialistExpert knowledge of Salesforce platform components, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, and Platform Developer toolsProficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce development technologiesExperience with integration technologies such as APIs, web services, and middleware solutionsStrong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data security principlesExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teamsExperience in mentoring team members
