The Navy Marine Corps IT Business Area and Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract at Leidos currently has an opening for a Salesforce Developer to support the development and maintenance of Salesforce applications, including leading the development and deployment of a new project using Salesforce. The position will be a remote/telework role in support of a U.S. Navy program, other business opportunities, and corporate initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

Design and develop custom applications and features within Salesforce applications.Serve as Subject Matter Expert on SalesforceWork directly with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate into development actionsDesign and build Salesforce applications utilizing declarative development tools and automationCreate and contribute to technical documentation of the systemTroubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during development and day-to-day useSupport quality assurance and user acceptance testing as needed

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree in other disciplines)4-6 years of experience working in Salesforce developmentU.S Citizen and the ability to obtain a Secret clearanceMastery of declarative development within Salesforce including FlowsCurrent Platform Developer I certificationExperience working with Sales CloudAbility to work with stakeholders to assess business needs and translate into Salesforce requirementsAbility to research solutions to development issues when the answer is not clear

Preferred Qualifications    

Active Secret clearanceExperience writing Apex codeCurrent Salesforce AdministratorCurrent Platform App Builder certificationExperience working in a Government Cloud environmentPrior experience supporting Department of Defense programs

Pay Range:Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
