Connect America is looking for a talented Salesforce Engineer to help drive our CRM initiatives forward. You’ll be responsible for architecting, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, focusing on Lightning components and community portals. In this role, you’ll help build the technical infrastructure that supports the safety and independence of seniors across the U.S., ensuring our CRM platform continues to drive exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities of the role include:
Design & Development: Create custom Salesforce solutions using Lightning components, Apex, and Visualforce to improve business workflows and enhance user interfaces.User Experience: Build and optimize Lightning-based interfaces for an intuitive and seamless user experience.Community Portals: Develop and maintain community portals to facilitate seamless interactions with customers, partners, and employees.Business Logic: Implement complex business logic using Apex triggers, classes, and Lightning web components.Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware, ensuring robust connectivity and data flow.Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce-related issues, ensuring optimal platform performance.Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, technical solutions that meet business needs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in Salesforce development.Strong proficiency in Lightning Component Framework, Apex, SOQL, and Visualforce.Proven experience in developing and customizing Salesforce community portals.Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for building interactive user interfaces.Familiarity with Salesforce APIs and integration patterns.Experience with Agile development processes.Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required (Platform Developer II preferred).
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience with Salesforce DX and version control systems (e.g., Git).Knowledge of Salesforce Einstein Analytics and AI capabilities.Familiarity with Salesforce Platform Event Architecture.Experience in mobile development on the Salesforce platform.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on debugging and performance optimization.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
