We are looking for a Salesforce Engineer II to join our IT Applications team in Bangalore, reporting to the senior manager of IT Applications who is based in Santa Clara, California, US. In this role, you will work closely with the Sales and Service teams to support existing and new business process as well as system functionality. You will be expected to implement repeatable and scalable business processes based on best practices in collaboration with all functional stakeholders while maintaining an emphasis on the integrity of the systems. What you’ll do:
Support day-to-day Sales, CPQ, Marketing, channels, order management support issues and maintenance and resolve all support queries related to Salesforce accessHelp with month-end and quarter-end close processesCoordinate with the onshore application team for critical issues, design analysis, and enhancementWork on CPQ, pricing, product structure, renewals, and contract co-term related issuesMonitor new Salesforce release features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvementsBuild and maintain enhancements of the Salesforce application in sales Cloud and CPQSupport users and business analysts to troubleshoot application issues and develop creative solutions to support business needsPerform hands on work in Apex, LWC, Aura framework, webservices, and other integration patternsBe familiar with VSC, Github, CICD processes, and Agile methodologiesWhat you’ll bring:
6+ years of experience in a Salesforce development role, including Apex and Visualforce developmentExperience in SFDC APIs, SOSL, SOQL, SOAP, or REST-based web services, SQL, XML, and JavaScriptExperience working with Salesforce communities, Apex, SOQL, Visual Force, Lightning, JavaScript, Eclipse IDE, Workbench, Data loader, Ant tool, reports, and dashboardsProficiency in Salesforce administrative tasks like creating profiles, roles, users, page layouts, email alerts, approvals, workflows, reports, dashboards, tasks, and eventsExperience in CRM business processes like account management, order management, and quote managementSalesforce and Marketo integration experience is an added advantageAbility to communicate well both verbally and in writing, including documentation & ability to juggle multiple tasks and assignments while managing priorities to meet deadlinesExperience with deployment using change-set/VSC/CICD migration tools such as Opsera, Copado, AutoRabbit etc. and working on solving deployment errorsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, management information systems, computer information systems, or equivalent IT experience and Salesforce certifications (App Builder, PD I, PD II, Admin, CPQ) preferredMust be open to working on shiftsWhat success looks like:
