As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a Salesforce Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions within the CRM domain. This role involves building and leading a team of Salesforce developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that CRM solutions align with business objectives and deliver exceptional experiences.
 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
 

Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of Salesforce developers, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and design patterns are followed. Lead build-up of internal engineering team.Platform Design: Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define the technical architecture and design of Salesforce solutions that align with the product vision and strategy.Development Oversight: Lead the development of custom applications, components, and integrationsIntegration Management: Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation) using APIs and middleware solutions.Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality deliverables through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to development standards. Implement CI/CD practices to streamline deployment processes.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and user guides.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance CRM capabilities.Mentorship and Training: Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development within the technical team.

 

Qualifications & Competencies (education, skills, experience):

 Salesforce Expertise: Extensive knowledge and expertise of Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CRM best practices.Programming Skills: Strong and hands-on programming skills in Apex, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL, with experience in Salesforce development frameworks (e.g., Lightning Web Components).Integration Knowledge: Proficient in Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and middleware solutions (e.g., MuleSoft). Experience with decentralized, microservices-based integration approaches and various integration patterns.Architecture Skills: Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and design principles.DevOps Practices: Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and deployment methodologies to streamline product deliveryUser-Centric Design: Ability to focus on user experience and product usability, ensuring that solutions are intuitive and meet customer needs. Experience in UI development, specifically with the Lightning Component Framework and Aura. Familiarity with tools such as Figma and Visio.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator Certification, and other relevant Salesforce certifications.Experience: 5-7 years of experience in Salesforce development and implementation, with at least 2-3 years in a technical lead role.Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
