Salesforce Enterprise Architect

The Enterprise Architect (Salesforce) plans portions of the enterprise architecture environment, develops architectural principles and standards, and promotes alignment of technology to our needs. You will have a particular focus on the architecture and design of on premise and cloud platforms to support our Pharma and Life Sciences Business Unit (PLS BU) within Conduent.

As a technical expert, you will partner with our internal technology teams, our partners, third-party vendors, and business teams. Your experience will help us develop and/ or continue our technology transformation initiatives and create multi-year roadmaps to align enterprise-wide solutions to Conduent's PLS BU priorities. You will also survey the technology landscape and guide the evolution of the current environment to support future capabilities and requirements. You will report to the Sr. Director, Technology General Manager for PLS BU.

You will put technical solutions in place for identity and access, implement data and process integrations, and design solutions that account for large data volumes and data privacy needs. You will also identify the optimal solution for business requirements and recommend using clicks, code, or a combination of both depending on the business use case.

You have skills in Core Salesforce cloud configuration and customization (Service, Health, Marketing, etc.), declarative and programmatic Salesforce tooling, and integrating with 3rd party systems, have used Light Web Components extensively.

The Day-to-Day:

\n\n Define and oversee the adherence to enterprise architecture principles and standards across portions of applications, infrastructure, and information security\n Define the architecture and lead the selection of important platforms (both cloud and on-premises), products, and vendors to be used for programs across the enterprise\n Ensure the architecture of applications and systems (especially cloud-based data and integration architecture, with Salesforce Service Cloud as the foundation, is consistent with enterprise needs, and check how application solutions are used to meet those enterprise needs\n Lead technology and business teams to evaluate current technology solutions and plan, design, and coordinate multi-year roadmaps for all applications and support activities\n Survey the technology landscape to identify systems and solutions that align with company and BU strategy while collaborating with executive leadership to recommend, implement and maintain appropriate technology solutions\n Function as SME to Technology Business Services, Infrastructure and Operations, Information Security, 3rd party vendors, and implementation partners\n Facilitate optimization of current state architecture during the transformation to future state architecture \n Develop POCs to facilitate architectural decisions and provide guidance to implementation teams\n Support problem-solving with pragmatic architectures and implementation approaches\n Tailor presentations and conversations to the appropriate audience: business stakeholders, clients, technical executives, or developers\n\n

Qualifications:

\n\n Minimum 10 year's combination of solution / technical / business architecture roles\n Minimum 7 years of experience leading solution / technical architecture team\n Minimum 5 years of architecture experience providing services to Pharmaceutical Manufacturers/ Biotech/ Biopharma companies for Patient Access/ Assistance, Hub, Inside Sales/ Healthcare Provider engagement solutions and workstreams \n Strong knowledge of Patient Access/ Assistance, Hub, Inside Sales/ Healthcare Provider engagement solutions\n Experience with application, data, integration, security, and technology platform architectures and implementation patterns\n Experience with Salesforce Service and Health Cloud required\n Portal Development and latest salesforce functionalities (LWC, Flows etc.)\n Visual Studio, DevOps, and middleware (MuleSoft).\n Expertise on Data modeling\n Experience with Azure and AWS data and integration services preferred\n Experience with market / industry trends and architecture frameworks\n Highly advanced ability to investigate, analyze issues to take to resolution\n Experience implementing multiple complex enterprise level changes simultaneously, including how to guide and measure adoption of best practices\n Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing employees\n Expertise in translating enterprise needs and problems into viable and accepted solutions\n Expertise in decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation, and influence\n Ability to know the audience (business, clients, technology executives, and developers) to tailor conversations\n Bachelor's degree in information systems or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience\n\n

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $122,430 - $159,000.
